We are honored to share his heartfelt words about his recent experience at South County Hospital.
"I am writing to all of you to share my thoughts about my recent and very positive experience at South County Hospital," begins Dr. Cote, reflecting on his journey. In early May, he underwent Aquablation therapy performed by Arnold Sarazen, MD, and spent the night as an inpatient in South County Hospital on the Frost 3 unit. Aquablation therapy is the latest in medical technology for men suffering from Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), also known as enlarged prostate.

"From the moment that I entered your facility to the minute that I walked out the front door the next day, I was treated with kindness, respect, and warmth," he shares.
Waking up in recovery, Dr. Cote felt the seamless transition of care. His stay on Frost 3 further reinforced his positive experience. "I met folks from three separate nursing shifts: Jess 1, Jess 2, Kathia, Lauren, Cat, Luis, and Sydney. Every single person was attentive and friendly; they all made me feel cared for, despite the fact that they were busy and responsible for multiple patients."
Dr. Cote concludes his letter with heartfelt appreciation: "I would like to have each of these folks know how much I appreciated their concern and devotion to the craft of patient care. Kudos to you all for a well-run, efficient venue that obviously still values the patient. I’m a retired Orthopedic Surgeon and have worked in several different settings along the way, including the military, VA system, as a Resident, and as part of a large health system. I’ve also been a patient at various institutions, and can attest that my overall experience at South County Hospital was first rate.”
