2024 South County Health Scholarship Recipients

South County Health is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's scholarships. Through our two annual scholarship programs, the Conrad-Nestor-Walsh Scholarship and the Medical Staff Scholarship, South County Health is proud to support the educational pursuits of deserving students in our community. This tradition, now over 30 years strong, continues to help local high school graduates follow their passions and achieve their dreams.

Medical Staff Scholarship

The Medical Staff Scholarships are awarded to students from our local area who are interested in pursuing careers in the medical field. High school guidance counselors nominate two students from each school, and the scholarships are awarded based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need. This year's recipients are:

Conrad-Nestor-Walsh Scholarship

The Conrad-Nestor-Walsh Scholarships are awarded to students entering post-secondary training who demonstrate academic achievement and financial need. These scholarships are specifically for children, grandchildren, or dependents of South County Health employees and volunteers. This year's recipients are:

• Troy Williams

Scholarship Committee Members

The Medical Staff Scholarship is funded by contributions from our medical staff, while the Conrad-Nestor-Walsh Scholarship is funded through generous philanthropic gifts from our donors. Both scholarships are processed annually in partnership with The Rhode Island Foundation.
