Dr. Alex McBurney was named South County Health’s 2016 Volunteer of the Year at a ceremony last month during the Volunteer annual dinner. Founder of Urology Associates, he retired in 2000 after 35 years in practice. In 2004 he began volunteering at South County Hospital and since then he has logged an impressive 3,000 hours of service.
