Dr. Wolfgang received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY, and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX, and a Gastroenterology fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. Dr. Wolfgang was selected to be Chief Medical Resident after completing his Internal Medicine Residency and Chief fellow during his final year of fellowship.
Dr. Wolfgang is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The American Gastroenterological Association, The American Osteopathic Association, The Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America and The Rhode Island Medical Society.
Dr. Wolfgang and his wife, Lilly, have four children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys woodworking, basketball, skiing, swimming (including the annual Save the Bay swim) and he still roots for the Buffalo Bills.
