Earns 5 Stars for Patient Survey and 4.5 Stars for Quality
South County Home Health, a division of South County Health, has received the highest ratings among all home health programs in Rhode Island from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS): 5 stars for Patient Survey and 4.5 stars for Quality of Patient Care.
These top ratings place South County Home Health among the top-performing home health programs in the nation.
“These ratings are a testament to the extraordinary care, compassion, and professionalism our home health team provides every day,” said Aaron Robinson, President and CEO of South County Health. “We are honored to be recognized at the highest level, and most importantly, to earn the trust and gratitude of the patients and families we serve across southern Rhode Island, and we are proud of our home health team for raising the bar for what home-based care can and should be.”
CMS star ratings are based on performance data collected nationwide and help patients and their families make informed decisions when choosing healthcare providers. The Quality of Patient Care rating reflects how often each agency used best practices and achieved positive outcomes, while the Patient Experience rating is based directly on feedback from patients about their care.
“Whether helping a patient recover from surgery, manage a chronic condition, or regain independence after illness, our team approaches every home visit with skill and heart,” said Lynne Driscoll, RN, Assistant Vice President of Community Health at South County Health. “These ratings reaffirm our commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care that is engrained into our culture at South County Health.”
South County Home Health has long been recognized as a leader in home-based care, offering services such as skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and social work—all tailored to the needs and goals of each patient.
