This milestone marks a significant achievement for both our trainees and the organization as we continue our commitment to developing skilled healthcare professionals.

"The SCMG Medical Assistant Training Program is a testament to South County Health’s dedication to fostering talent and meeting the growing demand for highly trained medical assistants. These graduates have completed rigorous training and hands-on experience, and we are confident they will make a meaningful impact working directly with patients in our healthcare community."

A Transformative Journey

The inaugural cohort of graduates of the Medical Assistant Training Program come from diverse professional backgrounds, including healthcare, the food industry, and administrative roles. Over the past three months, they have gained valuable skills through a hybrid learning approach:

  • Classroom Training: Led by our Professional Development Team to establish a strong foundation in medical knowledge and patient care.
  • On-the-Job Training: Hands-on experience alongside dedicated MA Preceptors within our practices.
