Breastfeeding Success
This 2-hour prenatal breastfeeding class is taught by a Women and Newborn Care Unit lactation consultant. Learn the art and science of providing the perfect nutrition before baby's arrival. Emphasis is on strategies to promote successful breastfeeding. Topics include: what you can expect at the hospital, how to avoid common breastfeeding issues, dispelling breastfeeding myths, and tips on ensuring an adequate milk supply. Partners or a single support person are encouraged to attend.
Free Classes held monthly in Newport and Wakefield.

Baby Race
Saturday, February 7
Babies ages 6 months to 12 months who can crawl can enter to win the Rhody Baby Race title! The Rhody Baby Race will occur on Saturday, February 7, at halftime of the Men’s Basketball game vs. Richmond. The game begins at 2:00 PM. All participants must have tickets to the game (babies are not required to have a ticket).
