On Friday, June 16, 2017, representatives from the Medical Staff at South County Health awarded a total of $11,800 in scholarships to 22 area high school graduates.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) developed the Star Rating System to help healthcare consumers make informed decisions.
Providers from nine different specialties were featured in the annual publication.
Two members of South County Health’s staff were recognized for their exemplary performance by the organization’s president and CEO, Lou Giancola, at the Annual Meeting held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at The Towers in Narragansett.
The South County Health Board of Trustees said farewell to one of its long-standing members, while welcoming two new members to the board.
